• Saturday, April 18th with General David Poythress, Democratic candidate for Governor: http://www.poythressforgovernor.com/. Also running for Governor on the Democratic side is DuBose Porter, Representative from Dublin, GA.
• Saturday, May 16th for our road trip to the Jimmy Carter Center in Atlanta

March and April meetings will be held at 10am at Chef Audrey's Bistro & Cafe in Warner Robins. The Cafe is located in the WalMart shopping center on Watson Blvd, between PetsMart and Staples. Brunch is $8 per person and includes juice, coffee, pastries or biscuits, and a delicious brunch main dish.

FEBRUARY and MARCH meetings

Please join us on Saturdays February 21st

and again on March 21st for our next meetings:

FEBRUARY 21st: Our guest speaker will be Martha Kiel, of the Democratic Party of GA, County Affairs. Martha will be able to give us an update on what the DPG is doing, and how we're growing across GA, with new and renewed County ogranizations. Very exciting! Martha has her finger on the pulse of GA Democratic politics and how we can keep the momentum going from our Presidential win.

MARCH 21st: Listen, as our own Sharon Dawson gives us a detailed Legislative update. The 2009 Legislative session will be nearly finished, and Sharon is our watchdog. She reads the reports on Bills and policies and will be able to tell us how everything affects us here in Middle GA. Sharon works in the area of Senior Services specifically, but has a talent for grasping how policies in one area trickle down and spread their good (or bad) consequences on a much broader scope.
