The Middle Georgia Democratic Women's Club and commmunity volunteers sponsored a Democratic rally at Creekwood Park in Perry on 9/27/08. Among the speakers were state Sen. Robert Brown, Georgia house candidate Roy Gibbs, Obama Campaign Women's Outreach coordinator Nia Phillips, and Hobby Stripling (for Congressman Jim Marshall, who was understandably busy in Washington DC). Fenika Miller and Scott Taylor served as emcees, and pep talks by Travoris Culpepper and Kim Carter added to the fun.
